全美青少年科學(xué)與人文大賽 Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (簡稱JSHS) Program 是一項(xiàng)由美國陸軍、海軍和空軍三項(xiàng)贊助的 STEM 學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng),旨在促進(jìn)中學(xué)生對(duì)科學(xué)、技術(shù)、工程和數(shù)學(xué)的原創(chuàng)性研究和實(shí)驗(yàn)。每年近20,000名高中生在各州賽地區(qū)參加大賽選拔,以競(jìng)爭(zhēng)最終進(jìn)入全美決賽的入場(chǎng)券。JSHS參賽地區(qū)涵蓋了美國的所有50個(gè)州、哥倫比亞特區(qū)、波多黎各以及歐洲和太平洋的國防部學(xué)校。
適合對(duì)象
9-12年級(jí),對(duì)科學(xué)、技術(shù)、工程和數(shù)學(xué)等學(xué)科方向感興趣,有自己的原創(chuàng)研究課題項(xiàng)目,來自全美、哥倫比亞特區(qū)、波多黎各以及歐洲和太平洋地區(qū)的同學(xué)們。

環(huán)境科學(xué)、生物醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)、生命科學(xué)、醫(yī)藥與健康/行為科學(xué)、工程與技術(shù)、物理科學(xué)、化學(xué)等學(xué)科類別。

9-12月 JSHS區(qū)域賽,競(jìng)選區(qū)域獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)/國賽入場(chǎng)券
1-3月 JSHS舉行區(qū)域?qū)n}討論會(huì)
4-5月 JSHS國賽,評(píng)選國賽獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)榮譽(yù)和頒發(fā)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金

區(qū)域決賽入圍者獎(jiǎng)
每個(gè)地區(qū)總共發(fā)放 4,500美元 的本科生學(xué)費(fèi)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。
第一名獲得 $ 2,000
第二名將獲得 $ 1,500
第三名將獲得 $ 1,000
全國比賽獎(jiǎng)
除了獲得獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金之外,陸軍、海軍和空軍部還邀請(qǐng)每個(gè)地區(qū)研討會(huì)的前五名入圍者,參加全國JSHS研討會(huì),以介紹他們的原創(chuàng)研究。
第一名和第二名區(qū)域決賽入圍者將在口頭比賽中展示他們的研究,以爭(zhēng)取國家JSHS獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。
區(qū)域決賽入圍者的第三、第四和第五名將在海報(bào)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)中展示他們的研究,以爭(zhēng)奪現(xiàn)金獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。
全國決賽入圍者
在全國研討會(huì)研究論文的每項(xiàng)主題類別的前三名入圍者中,共頒發(fā)了192,000美元的大學(xué)學(xué)費(fèi)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。
第一名入圍者將獲得 $ 12,000
第二名決賽入圍者各獲得 $ 8,000
第三名決賽入圍者各獲得 $ 4,000
在每個(gè)主題類別的國家研討會(huì)研究海報(bào)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)中,入圍決賽的決賽選手將獲得總計(jì) 10,800美元 的現(xiàn)金獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。

海報(bào)比賽第二名入圍者各獲得 $ 450
海報(bào)比賽第三名入圍者各獲得 $ 350
