AIMO學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)全稱Australian Intermediate Mathematics Olympiad，即“澳大利亞中級(jí)數(shù)學(xué)奧林匹克學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)”。由澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)權(quán)威機(jī)構(gòu)AMT（澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)聯(lián)合會(huì)）主辦，并由澳大利亞奧數(shù)委員會(huì)評(píng)卷，成績(jī)含金量極高，被澳大利亞奧數(shù)國(guó)家隊(duì)作為選拔集訓(xùn)隊(duì)的最重要依據(jù)。
