Local fairs are organized by your school or school district. If you school or school district does not have a local fair, you can probably directly participate in the next round, the regional fair. Please consult relevant teachers or administrators at your school for detail.

地區(qū)賽 (Regional Fair)

大多數(shù)州會設(shè)置若干個地區(qū)賽，每個地區(qū)包含一個或多個郡。參賽作品通過地區(qū)賽的選拔進入州賽。

Most states have multiple regional fairs. Each regional fair covers one or several counties (or similar geographical units). Top entries will advance to the next round, the state fair.

州賽 (State Fair)

州賽是每個州的決賽。參賽作品通過州賽的選拔進入國際賽，也就是英特爾國際科學(xué)與工程大獎賽 (ISEF)。

The state fair is the final round within the state. Top entries will advance to the international round, the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).
