Being a Panther at the Olympiad！| 奧林匹亞盛會上的德威美洲豹！

The week before Spring Break, 73 students and 12 staff headed to London for the Dulwich Olympiad. A longer, more detailed report from students will come out in the next couple of weeks, but in the meantime, I wanted to share with the community how proud I was of the whole team. And when I say “team”, I meanallthe Art, Music, Drama, and Sport students and their teachers who embarked on this epic journey.

Before we departed, we talked about what it means to be a Panther, including how we support each other in the classroom, on the field, and on the stage. We talked about taking responsibility, being resilient and adaptable, and having high expectations of each other and ourselves. We talked about being aware of where you are, following instructions, and taking care of each other.

We are extremely grateful to all the students and staff who came on this trip. The attitudes they chose to have, despite their tiredness or the complicated days, made it an absolute pleasure to lead. I have never been prouder to be a Panther.

春假前一周，我校73名學生和12名教職人員共同赴倫敦參加德威奧林匹亞盛會。來自學生們的長篇詳盡報告將在未來幾周內公布，但此時此刻，我想與全校社區一同分享，我為自己是這個團隊中的一員而感到多么驕傲。我所說的團隊，包括踏上此次非凡旅程的所有藝術、音樂、戲劇和體育課程師生。

出發前，我們曾探討過作為“美洲豹”意味著什么，我們應如何在課堂、運動場或舞臺上互相支持。我們討論了如何承擔責任、培養韌性與適應能力，以及如何對他人和自己賦予高期望。我們還談到了處境意識、遵循指示和互相關懷。

從師生們抵達倫敦的那一刻起，他們所發揚的學校精神就顯而易見了;但對我來說，最切實感受到這種精神的時刻是在拔河比賽上。雖然只有16名學生參加，但就好像73名同學同時都在那支隊伍中。“加油，美洲豹”的呼聲在整個校園內回響，甚至比主隊的加油聲更為響亮。這為整次行程定下了基調，無論我們是在舞臺上，在教室里還是在賽場上，我們的助威聲都是最響亮的。

對于參與此次行程的所有師生，我想表示由衷的感謝；盡管身體疲憊，在比賽中遇到挫折，他們仍選擇以積極的態度來面對。能夠領導一支這樣的團隊，我感到無比榮幸，也從未對自己身為美洲豹的一員而感到如此自豪。?
