澳洲本科生如何申請(qǐng)美國(guó)研究生

近些年的咨詢過程中，遇到不少澳洲本科在讀或已畢業(yè)，想申請(qǐng)美國(guó)碩士的學(xué)生。與美國(guó)不同，澳洲是英聯(lián)邦國(guó)家，學(xué)制通常是三年。澳洲的教育體制，在三年本科學(xué)士學(xué)位之上，碩士學(xué)位之下，設(shè)置了一年榮譽(yù)學(xué)士學(xué)位。澳洲是英語系授課國(guó)家，澳洲的申請(qǐng)者申請(qǐng)美國(guó)的時(shí)候，大部分情況下可以不用提交語言成績(jī)（托福或雅思），但是部分院校是不可以豁免的，例如麻省理工大學(xué)（All applicants whose first language is not English, including those currently enrolled in US institutions, must present evidence of their ability to carry on their studies in English），對(duì)于母語非英語的申請(qǐng)者，即使在美國(guó)本土完成本科學(xué)位，也要提供語言成績(jī)。申請(qǐng)過程中也會(huì)遇到其他問題，最突出的就是澳洲本科的成績(jī)與美國(guó)大學(xué)本科GPA之間的關(guān)系以及美國(guó)大學(xué)是否接受三年制本科。下面針對(duì)這兩各問題，一一解答。

美國(guó)和澳洲本科GPA換算

雖然美國(guó)大學(xué)以及其他學(xué)術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)并未直接給出澳洲本科成績(jī)與美國(guó)GPA成績(jī)的換算，但是通過英國(guó)院校碩士課程對(duì)各國(guó)GPA的要求，可以發(fā)現(xiàn)他們之間大致的對(duì)等關(guān)系。

劍橋大學(xué)

一等學(xué)位（First Class）要求美國(guó)3.7/4.0，要求澳洲first class/High Distinction/ 80%；二等甲學(xué)位（2.1）要求美國(guó)3.5，要求澳洲Second Class Division A/ Distinction/ 70%；

帝國(guó)理工

2.1 學(xué)位要求的碩士專業(yè)，通常需要美國(guó)GPA 3.5以上的成績(jī)，需要澳洲Upper Second Class honours以上的學(xué)位；

倫敦大學(xué)學(xué)院

2.1 學(xué)位的碩士專業(yè)，要求美國(guó)GPA 3.3以上，要求澳洲Second Class Division A，70%，或者6/7，

2.2學(xué)位的碩士專業(yè)，要求美國(guó)GPA 3.0以上，要求澳洲Second Class Division A

其中英國(guó)的愛丁堡大學(xué)官網(wǎng)上詳細(xì)的給出來英國(guó)學(xué)位與澳洲，美國(guó)以及其他國(guó)家成績(jī)的具體要求。

眾所周知，申請(qǐng)美國(guó)大學(xué)研究生通常最低要求GPA 3.0/4.0，申請(qǐng)美國(guó)前30的院校GPA 3.5左右才具有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力，所以，澳洲本科學(xué)位的申請(qǐng)者至少擁有均分65分以上的成績(jī)才能達(dá)到GPA 3.0的要求，申請(qǐng)top50 的院校均分70-74分之間，申請(qǐng)排名前20的院校均分在75分以上。
