雖然這期的英語(yǔ)讀寫(xiě)班名額已滿,但我們?nèi)詫⒉粩嗟耐晟谱约海驗(yàn)槲覀儠?huì)讓每位想學(xué)習(xí)的孩子都有機(jī)會(huì)跟我們的老師學(xué)習(xí)正確的學(xué)術(shù)英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作。
帝諾英美語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)中心新設(shè)立的英語(yǔ)讀寫(xiě)班與其他讀寫(xiě)班不同的是:加入了適合國(guó)際學(xué)校學(xué)生應(yīng)該學(xué)習(xí)的寫(xiě)作能力提升內(nèi)容,不但能糾正孩子所有的語(yǔ)法問(wèn)題,還能學(xué)會(huì)英語(yǔ)論文寫(xiě)作方式,用中國(guó)人的思維方式學(xué)會(huì)如何具備西方人思維的方式,除了增強(qiáng)閱讀能力外,并全面提升各學(xué)科詞匯量;不論是IB還是AP學(xué)生,或者是A-Level的學(xué)生,都應(yīng)提前扎實(shí)好讀寫(xiě)功底;尤其是寫(xiě)作,因?yàn)閷?xiě)作所涉及能力范圍之廣,不是一般家長(zhǎng)和學(xué)生們所了解的。
倘若,沒(méi)有給孩子提供一個(gè)正確的引導(dǎo)方式,那只會(huì)使孩子的問(wèn)題逐漸積累更嚴(yán)重的問(wèn)題罷了。將對(duì)孩子日后在校的學(xué)習(xí)、留學(xué)前的學(xué)術(shù)考試及出國(guó)后的論文都將產(chǎn)生極大的影響。因此,我們呼吁家長(zhǎng)們應(yīng)該提前重視這樣的問(wèn)題。
很多家長(zhǎng)們會(huì)看著是不是老外授課而去上課,如何是練習(xí)口語(yǔ)或單單只是學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí),那絕對(duì)是可以的;也或者跟外教學(xué)習(xí)八年以上的時(shí)間,寫(xiě)作或許會(huì)有些進(jìn)步。可為什么會(huì)出現(xiàn)這樣的現(xiàn)象呢?早在12年前,我們美國(guó)團(tuán)隊(duì)過(guò)來(lái)中國(guó)教導(dǎo)學(xué)生AP課程及寫(xiě)作時(shí),經(jīng)過(guò)幾年的努力,發(fā)現(xiàn)中國(guó)學(xué)生思維的方式不同和寫(xiě)作能力真的非常欠缺。
當(dāng)時(shí),我們的團(tuán)隊(duì)是美國(guó)大學(xué)里的頂級(jí)老師和美國(guó)Kaplan的優(yōu)秀老師,效果真的很不明顯。尤其是遇到學(xué)生語(yǔ)法狀態(tài)不好時(shí)更讓老師們頭痛。孩子在進(jìn)行英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作時(shí),是不能出現(xiàn)明顯的語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤,更別說(shuō)出現(xiàn)嚴(yán)重的錯(cuò)誤,這樣的情況幾乎是當(dāng)時(shí)的外教們最為崩潰的一件事。而外教們也不會(huì)去糾正學(xué)生們的語(yǔ)法錯(cuò)誤,那是因?yàn)橥饨虃冋J(rèn)為那不是他們的職責(zé)所在,他們認(rèn)為他們只負(fù)責(zé)教孩子知識(shí)及學(xué)術(shù)論文寫(xiě)作。然而,殊不知一個(gè)論文寫(xiě)作沒(méi)有個(gè)幾年的引導(dǎo),是無(wú)法寫(xiě)好的!

1. It's good for students to have part-time jobs because this helps cultivate independence among young people.

1. Part-time jobs often distract students' attention from their studies, and some students even play truant.
2. The main task of students is to study hard and learn what is needed for the development of our nation. Social experience can be gained later after they finish their studies.
3. It's not good for students to do part-time jobs because they will become money-oriented.
4. Many students who have part-time jobs have shown a decline in their studies.
5. Part-time jobs do not help develop a sense of thriftiness among young people because many students spend the money on such high-priced items and luxuries that their parents can hardly afford.
6. Since students are in their formative years, part-time jobs may expose them to social ills at an age when they cannot differentiate good from bad.
