耶魯大學(xué)公布2023年補充文書題目?

耶魯入學(xué)申請的補充文書題目分為簡答題和必寫文書兩項，今年題目稍微有了一些改變：
① “Short Answer Question”的最后一題換了新題目
② “Essays”的第一題改變，第二題融合了去年的內(nèi)容

3+4個簡答題?

無論學(xué)生選擇Coalition Application，Common Application或QuestBridge Application這三者中的哪一個申請平臺，都需要完成以下的簡答題：
Q1.Students at Yale have time to explore their academic interests before committing to one or more major fields of study. Many students either modify their original academic direction or change their minds entirely. As of this moment, what academic areas seem to fit your interests or goals most comfortably? Please indicate up to three from the?list?provided.

耶魯大學(xué)的學(xué)生在決定從事一個或多個學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)域前，都會用充足的時間來探索個人學(xué)術(shù)興趣。通過這種探索，有學(xué)生會調(diào)整原來的學(xué)術(shù)方向，有學(xué)生則完全改變自己的學(xué)術(shù)愛好。到目前為止，哪些學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)域是符合你的興趣或個人目標(biāo)的呢？（請從提供的列表中最多指出三個。）

Q2.Tell us about a topic or idea that excites you and is related to one or more academic areas you selected above. Why are you drawn to it? (200 words or fewer)

選擇Coalition Application或Common Application申請系統(tǒng)的學(xué)生還需要回答下面這些簡答題（200字符，約35個單詞以內(nèi)）。

Q2.Yale’s residential colleges regularly host conversations with guests representing a wide range of experiences and accomplishments. What person, past or present, would you invite to speak? What would you ask them to discuss?

提交Coalition Application或Common Application的申請人需要回答以下問題之一，字?jǐn)?shù)不超過400字。
Q1.Yale carries out?its mission?“through the free exchange of ideas in an ethical, interdependent, and diverse community.” Reflect on a time when you exchanged ideas about an important issue with someone holding an opposing view. How did the experience lead you either to change your opinion or to sharpen your reasons for holding onto it?

耶魯大學(xué)擁有一個“有道德的、相互支撐的、鼓勵多元化、自由交流思想的”社區(qū)，我們的使命也正是如此。回想一下，當(dāng)你和持相反觀點的人就一個重要問題交換意見的時候，這段經(jīng)歷是如何讓你改變自己的觀點，或者是讓你更明確的堅持它的呢？

Q2.Reflect on a time when you have worked to enhance a community to which you feel connected. Why have these efforts been meaningful to you? You may define community however you like.
