論壇簡(jiǎn)介|Introduction

2019年是清華附中建校104周年，為了回顧清華附中國(guó)際教育辦學(xué)歷史，展示辦學(xué)成就，探索新形勢(shì)下的辦學(xué)思路，豐富提升國(guó)際教育的辦學(xué)理論體系，茲定于2019年10月19日在清華附中校內(nèi)舉辦“全國(guó)中學(xué)教育論壇暨清華附中國(guó)際教育實(shí)踐與探索”系列活動(dòng)。

This year is the 104th anniversary of Tsinghua University High School. In order to review the history of its international education, to showcase its achievements, and to explore new practices and deepen understandings, we will hold a National Forum on Secondary Education and Practices and Exploration on International Education on the Tsinghua University High School campus on October 19, 2019.

清華附中國(guó)際部成立于2009年。建校以來(lái)，學(xué)校始終致力于提供具有國(guó)際品質(zhì)的中西合璧的教育，培養(yǎng)根植于中國(guó)文化、具有獨(dú)立思考能力及創(chuàng)新精神的國(guó)際化杰出人才。國(guó)際部參考了美國(guó)的課程體系，并融合了中國(guó)語(yǔ)言文化的課程。沉浸式的英文環(huán)境有利于學(xué)生英語(yǔ)能力的提高，同時(shí)中文作為核心課程，又保障了學(xué)生的漢語(yǔ)水平和中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化及清華精神的內(nèi)在傳承。

Tsinghua International School (THIS) was founded in 2009 andaims to provide foreign students with courses featuring the combination of Eastern and Western educational philosophy and practice. The school is dedicated to cultivating leaders with global vision. The curriculum applied at THIS is based in US standards and also includes courses related to Chinese culture, history and language.

清華附中國(guó)際部建校十年來(lái)不斷完善課程體系、豐富學(xué)生活動(dòng)、辦學(xué)成果得到了社會(huì)的廣泛認(rèn)可和贊譽(yù)。

Over the past ten years,Tsinghua International School has constantly improved the curriculum system and enriched student's activities. School's achievements are widely recognized and highly praised by the society.

十周年慶典當(dāng)日，圍繞“國(guó)際教育”的主題，我們誠(chéng)邀教育界人士走進(jìn)課堂，近距離感受清華附中國(guó)際部的教學(xué)特點(diǎn)，與老師一同探討國(guó)際教育的現(xiàn)狀與趨勢(shì)。

On the day of the 10th Anniversary Celebration, we also invite educators to enter the classroom, experience the teaching environment of THIS, and discuss the status and trends of international education with teachers.

亮點(diǎn)|Highlights

19日下午的工作坊涵蓋課程中的全球意識(shí)培養(yǎng)、基于理解力培養(yǎng)的中學(xué)語(yǔ)文教學(xué)、高中人類種族研究等多個(gè)主題。同步進(jìn)行的展示則開(kāi)設(shè)小學(xué)到高中，七個(gè)學(xué)科，十四個(gè)課程的開(kāi)放課堂。

The workshops held on the afternoon of the October 19th will cover multiple topics, including global awareness of sustainability projects, understanding by design practice in Chinese classroom teaching, and ethnographic research in high school. Demonstration lessons will be held simultaneously, across seven subjects and fourteen courses from primary to high school

Tsinghua International School (THIS) was established by Tsinghua University a decade ago. It is an international school that seeks to meet the educational needs of Chinese overseas returnees’ children. It recruits students residing in or intending to reside in Beijing from foreign nationalities, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. THIS is located in the century-old Tsinghua High School, next to the beautiful the Old Summer Palace.
