National Economics Challenge(NEC)全美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)賽由Council for Economic Education (CEE)美國經(jīng)濟(jì)教育學(xué)會(huì)舉辦,歷經(jīng)17年,已經(jīng)成為美國最具影響力的高中生經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng),每年有約10,500名學(xué)生參加。
CEE美國經(jīng)濟(jì)教育學(xué)會(huì)是擁有近70年的歷史,是美國K-12財(cái)經(jīng)素養(yǎng)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)制定者,也是華爾街各大財(cái)經(jīng)集團(tuán)、全美知名企業(yè)(福特、穆迪、普華永道)的重要合作伙伴,而NEC恰恰是CEE旗下最具影響力的賽事,因此整個(gè)NEC賽事受到華爾街知名金融機(jī)構(gòu)、美國頂尖大學(xué)的廣泛支持與認(rèn)可,且比賽現(xiàn)場(chǎng)將由美國最知名的全球性財(cái)經(jīng)新聞臺(tái)CNBC進(jìn)行全程直播,并由Nightly Business Report晚間商業(yè)報(bào)告和Squawk Box財(cái)經(jīng)論壇進(jìn)行后續(xù)報(bào)道。
NEC賽事需要學(xué)生具備扎實(shí)的經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)學(xué)科知識(shí)功底以及良好的臨場(chǎng)應(yīng)變能力,注重考察學(xué)生解決問題的能力以及對(duì)于社會(huì)事件所表現(xiàn)出的批判性思維能力。因此,所有晉級(jí)到總決賽的學(xué)生實(shí)力不容忽視。且每年有超過20%的NEC Finals總決賽選手被Harvard哈佛、Yale耶魯和Stanford斯坦福等超一流名校錄取。
NEC比賽范圍
NEC學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)的考察范圍包括Microeconomics微觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué), Macroeconomics宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué), International and current events國際經(jīng)濟(jì)和時(shí)事,且學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)中可能包含以下四個(gè)環(huán)節(jié):

International Rounds國際時(shí)事
整個(gè)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)根據(jù)學(xué)生的水平共分成兩個(gè)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)組別,NEC中國區(qū)的決賽會(huì)在兩個(gè)組別內(nèi)分別晉級(jí)8個(gè)團(tuán)隊(duì)參加美國總決賽:
1.在校經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)單科成績排名前20%以內(nèi)
2.參加2017 NEC China David Ricardo Division初級(jí)組賽事并獲得區(qū)域金、銀、銅獎(jiǎng)
3.參加過考試且成績4分以上
4.已經(jīng)上完微觀、宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)的課程
5.在往屆USAD經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)單科獲獎(jiǎng)
6.已經(jīng)被NSLC美國國家學(xué)生領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力聯(lián)盟商科專業(yè)錄取
1.沒有任何經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)科學(xué)系背景但是對(duì)其非常感興趣
2.通過自學(xué)或其他課外輔導(dǎo)的形式完成經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)相關(guān)課程學(xué)習(xí)
3.高一剛接觸微觀、宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)課程
NEC賽事流程
第一輪:中國區(qū)域站學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)中兩個(gè)組別都需要進(jìn)行四輪筆試考核,三輪個(gè)人賽加一輪團(tuán)隊(duì)賽,每輪15道單項(xiàng)選擇題。
前二輪:分別以微觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、國際經(jīng)濟(jì)和時(shí)事為核心內(nèi)容對(duì)學(xué)生的基本經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)知識(shí)進(jìn)行精確考察。
第三輪:以學(xué)生團(tuán)隊(duì)作答的形式,考驗(yàn)參與學(xué)生的答題策略制定、分工合作,科學(xué)的運(yùn)用經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)能力。
