The 2019 What’s Poppin Teen Founder Forum is making its debut this week. As the founder of two internet startups,What’s Poppin and CAPISCE,SAS studentNicholas (Class of 2020)knows how important support and mentorship are to an entrepreneur’s journey.
平臺(tái)成立一年后,What’s Poppin正在為其舉辦的首個(gè)活動(dòng)做準(zhǔn)備——2019年“What’s Poppin 青少年創(chuàng)始者論壇”將于本周正式亮相,作為What’s Poppin和CAPISCE的創(chuàng)始人,上海美國(guó)學(xué)校十二年級(jí)學(xué)生Nicholas深知支持和指導(dǎo)對(duì)創(chuàng)業(yè)者來(lái)說(shuō)有多重要。

“I was surprised that I couldn’t find a support platform for teenage entrepreneurs,” said Nicholas. “I’ve been very lucky being able to benefit from the support of experts and mentors, so wanted to empower other teenage entrepreneurs by offering them access to the resources they might need.”
This is where the Forum comes in. It aims to provide a space and opportunity for likeminded young entrepreneurs to not only learn from and network with each other, but also to hear from key leaders in tech, design, gaming, marketing and market intelligence.
“Including me, five students are scheduled to speak. Qinyi and Brandon are fellow SAS-ers, Stellais from YKPAO and Anzhi is fromSHSID,” said Nicholas. The team is also thrilled that professionals like Dr. Gang Lu (founder and CEO of TechNode), Ms. Jessie Chen (founder of Kid-speak and news anchor at ICS) and Mr. Siddhi Lizcano (Interaction Design Creative Director at BMW Designworks)will be present, offering valuable insights and advices.
“The hope is that events like this can help inspire more entrepreneurship and innovation among teenagers,” said Nicholas.
