This past week, both our Pudong and Puxi campuses have been abuzz with activity as we welcomed all ourreturning studentsand 508 new studentsfor another fun year at SAS. We took to the hallways and spoke to students and teachers about what they aremost looking forward to this academic year, and here are their replies:

這周，我們的浦東和浦西校區都舉辦了很多活動來歡迎上海美國學校的返校生和五百零八個新同學加入我們新一年的狂歡。我們在走廊上詢問了學生和老師們對這個學年的最期待事情，他們給出了下面這些回復：

“I’m most looking forward to PE and Science class…and dissecting things in Science class.” – Ronan ’25, Puxi Campus

“The breadth of coursework that will come with the AP and IB courses in junior year, especially the ones that we’ve handpicked for ourselves, as well as the many different events and extra-curricular activities. “I’m also most looking forward to lunch because my mom isn’t the best cook. Don’t tell her I said that.” – Fiji ’27,PuxiCampus

“We’re really excited about being back in class and seeing our teachers again.” – Max ’21 and Moni ’20,PudongCampus

“I’m most excited to start getting dirty with the clay in our After School Activities.” – Mr. Daryl Bates, Visual Arts Teacher, Pudong Middle School

And there you have it. Once again, welcome back Eagles! We can’t wait to see what 2019-2020 has in store – we are sure this will be another one for the books.
