Being a teenager is difficult. You may, however mistakenly, believe that no one understands you, no one understands your struggles, and no one cares about you. You may feel completely alone in the world.
This year, on Friday, April 26, 2019, students from Advanced Drama, Drama Basics, and the HS Drama Club will join forces to bring you a suite of short plays on being a teenager, possibly one of the most difficult stages of one’s life. We will present you with “Sixteen in 10 Minutes or Less” and “Hoodie,” produced in collaboration with Theatrefolk (www.theatrefolk.com).
本周五(4月26日),來自戲劇社高級組,基礎組和高中戲劇社的學生將聯手打造一系列青春短片,展現人生中最困惑的階段之一。我們將與Theatrefolk(www.theatrefolk.com)合作,為您呈現青春劇“Sixteen in 10 Minutes or Less”和“Hoodie”。
For those struggling to make sense of their teenage years, this year’s spring drama production will give you a better understanding of what goes on in the minds of teenagers. Parents and teachers, we hope for you to relive the struggles of your teenage years, and for you to walk away better equipped to treat the teenagers around you with compassion and kindness. For ES students, this play will give you a taste of what is to come. Remember, you will not be alone in your struggles. Current teens, we hope for you to walk away feeling at least partially understood. Young adults, be proud that you have survived some of the most awkward years of your life.
