學(xué)校簡介

倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院(SOAS)創(chuàng)立于1916年，是倫敦大學(xué)的下屬學(xué)院。該院位于倫敦市中心區(qū)，緊鄰大英博物館和大英圖書館，享有一流的教育及文化資源，是英國唯一一所專門研究亞洲、非洲、近東和中東的高等教育機(jī)構(gòu)。學(xué)院專長語言和文化研究。倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院(SOAS)是英國乃至全球最富盛名的學(xué)院之一，在全世界同類學(xué)校中它的規(guī)模也堪稱一流。

倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院是英國最早開設(shè)預(yù)科的學(xué)校之一，其預(yù)科影響力十分深遠(yuǎn)，1985年成立，已經(jīng)培養(yǎng)2000多名預(yù)科學(xué)生。中國早期留學(xué)生都是進(jìn)這個(gè)學(xué)校讀語言和預(yù)科的。該預(yù)科課程結(jié)構(gòu)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，教學(xué)方法科學(xué)，自創(chuàng)建20年來，先后已有1500名學(xué)生通過該預(yù)科課程的學(xué)習(xí)順利進(jìn)入全英各大名校攻讀學(xué)位。高質(zhì)量的預(yù)科課程，獨(dú)到的語言學(xué)習(xí)和專業(yè)知識結(jié)合的方式，其課程質(zhì)量由倫敦大學(xué)擔(dān)保，獲得英國頂尖名校的高度認(rèn)可。目前，亞非研究學(xué)院（SOAS）約有3700名學(xué)生，30%是國際學(xué)生，還有1000名學(xué)生在世界各地學(xué)習(xí)遠(yuǎn)程教育課程。學(xué)院對所有學(xué)生都給予學(xué)習(xí)上的支持，每個(gè)學(xué)生都有個(gè)人導(dǎo)師。學(xué)院還為國際學(xué)生開設(shè)了學(xué)期前和學(xué)期中英語課程。

申請需要條件：

國內(nèi)高中畢業(yè)或英國A Level轉(zhuǎn)讀預(yù)科。?雅思(UKVI)要求:?5.5分，寫作5分。

預(yù)科分2個(gè)時(shí)間段開課：

ICC（9月）：9.17— 第二年.6.26

學(xué)費(fèi)：19000鎊

ICC Plus?（7月）.7.29 -第二年.6.26

學(xué)費(fèi)：21800鎊

這個(gè)7月加長版（Plus）的預(yù)科和9月開學(xué)差別在于在這個(gè)課程之前加了5周的閱讀和寫作技能訓(xùn)練。

當(dāng)然SOAS還有非常好的語言中心有長度不等的語言課程，比如9月1月4月開學(xué)，還有夏季pre-sessional?強(qiáng)化語言課。特別適合在國內(nèi)高中已經(jīng)畢業(yè)，學(xué)不下去，提高慢的學(xué)生。

面試：

所有申請學(xué)生都會(huì)被要求面試，可以在倫敦，每個(gè)月都可以參加，也可以通過視頻面試（SKYPE），這個(gè)一般要求寫作成績好的學(xué)生。也可以參加在中國上海和北京舉辦的面試。

申請者可以沒有雅思成績申請?jiān)擃A(yù)科，參加筆試和面試一樣可以獲得條件錄取。你只是需要后補(bǔ)一個(gè)雅思成績。

申請費(fèi)：

2019年5月1日以前的學(xué)生，申請豁免90英鎊的申請費(fèi)，這之后的學(xué)生是需要支付這個(gè)90鎊的申請費(fèi)。

畢業(yè)生歷年評價(jià)：亞非學(xué)院是一個(gè)社科類大學(xué)，該預(yù)科主要是針對社科學(xué)生開設(shè)，畢業(yè)生主要是商科、傳媒、社會(huì)科學(xué)等專業(yè)。目前畢業(yè)生有很大比例進(jìn)入倫敦大學(xué)系統(tǒng)學(xué)校。特別是UCL和KCL。

作為老牌本科預(yù)科，有著非常高的預(yù)科師資和教育質(zhì)量，在英國做到這么多年，應(yīng)該是大名鼎鼎了。預(yù)科有著廣泛的認(rèn)可度，得到英國所有學(xué)校的認(rèn)可，雖然最近沒有LSE的錄取，但是在商科、社科等專業(yè)都還是非常有競爭力。
