【讀Phd的一些tips，寫給我的小伙伴兒們】

1.英國的full-time Phd 注冊期一般是3年，然后允許你有一年時間寫學位論文，這一年叫做，written-up year。

2.最低要求一般是2.1及以上學位，換算國內是80+的均分。當然，這個不是最重點，最重點是你的research proposal是不是契合。

3.英國是允許本科直接讀博的，但一般要本科到First class的段位，換算國內成績基本要90+，寫作一般不低于7.

4.除了最最重要的Research Proposal，還需要一份Academic CV來拓展你的經歷，需要強化你的專業領域和研究方向，以及課題方向。

5.找導師，找導師要先確定自己的研究方向是否和人家導師相關，可以提前看人家的Paper，如果覺得一拍即可，可以開始給他們發Cover letter說說你最近的情況，問是否需要你這號人，問他們缺人不。如果他也覺得你也還厲害好有腔調的話，會讓你進一步的把研究計劃給他，甚至給你單獨約面試機會。如果不匹配別浪費時間。

6. 獎學金申請。英國博士獎學金申請對于國際生來說競爭還是很激烈的，一般有CSC資助（前提是拿exemption from tuition fees的Offer、國際生獎學金申請。
