▶ UNC北卡羅來(lái)納大學(xué)教堂山分校官宣:2026–2027申請(qǐng)季起,取消2027Fall申請(qǐng)季的所有補(bǔ)充文書。
▶Cornell康奈爾大學(xué)宣布:2027Fall起,取消沿用了多年的全校通用community文書,只保留各學(xué)院專屬文書 。
兩校到底砍了什么、留了什么?

UNC北卡補(bǔ)充文書直接“歸零”
原來(lái)除了CA主文書外,還需從四道題目中任選兩道撰寫短答,內(nèi)容涉及身份認(rèn)同、社區(qū)貢獻(xiàn)與個(gè)人理想。但從2027年秋季入學(xué)申請(qǐng)起,這一部分將全部取消。

UNC招生辦公室對(duì)此舉的解釋為“簡(jiǎn)化申請(qǐng)流程、降低準(zhǔn)備壓力”。但深層邏輯清晰:對(duì)資源有限的申請(qǐng)者,反復(fù)打磨多篇補(bǔ)充文書是真實(shí)門檻。缺乏升學(xué)指導(dǎo)、學(xué)業(yè)負(fù)擔(dān)重時(shí),多一篇文書就多一分挑戰(zhàn)。
取消強(qiáng)制補(bǔ)充文書,能吸納更多元背景的申請(qǐng)者,將評(píng)估重心回歸GPA、課程難度、活動(dòng)與主文書等硬性指標(biāo)。
2026-2027年通用申請(qǐng)題目

康奈爾本科招生辦在官網(wǎng)更新了2026-2027申請(qǐng)季的文書要求,最關(guān)鍵的一句話:There will be no university essay question for Fall 2027 applicants.

很多人一看"取消"兩個(gè)字就炸了——但先別急,取消的不是 CA主文書,也不是學(xué)院文書,而是那篇沿用了多年的全校通用補(bǔ)充文書。
