G9-G10 Art Festival
OnDecember 18thmorning, annual Art Festival filled the air with Christmas spirit and created lasting memories! This year, there was a total of 28 performances. While many of them featured impressive dance moves, there were also multiple bands, a few Acappella groups and choirs that sang lovely songs, and a humorous skit performed by 9th graders.
This year’s hosts and hostesses were especially entertaining, as most of the hosts ended up being roasted by the hostesses.There were very well coordinated dances by talented people, many of whom performed in multiple shows. The majority of the dances were pop themed, but we also got to see some Tango and Kendo. Teachers, as well as a group of supportive parents, spiced up the Art Festival with poetry reading, singing, and dancing. During the festival, the director hosted an “X-mas Surprise” where grade 9 and 10 students were randomly chosen to receive a box of chocolate as well as a free yearbook at the end of the year. This year’s Art Festival was especially enjoyable since we were all able to discover the talents of many new students! With old friends visiting and new friends nearby, this Art Festival was truly enlightening and joyful.
12月18日上午，9-10年級(jí)舉行了一年一度的藝術(shù)節(jié)。本次表演總共有28個(gè)節(jié)目，節(jié)目有舞蹈、樂(lè)器、饒舌、唱歌、小品等。令人耳目一新的是，今年的舞蹈表演中，除了常見(jiàn)的流行元素，還出現(xiàn)了探戈以及劍道。而在所有節(jié)目中，最吸引眼球的莫過(guò)于老師們的詩(shī)歌朗誦和舞蹈，此外，家長(zhǎng)代表也帶來(lái)了精彩表演。另外，兩次圣誕驚喜環(huán)節(jié)，更是把現(xiàn)場(chǎng)氣氛推向了最高點(diǎn)，在抽獎(jiǎng)環(huán)節(jié)中，被抽中的幸運(yùn)兒都能收到一盒巧克力和學(xué)校年冊(cè)。讓我們期待來(lái)年的藝術(shù)節(jié)更加精彩！

G11-G12 Art Festival
As the Christmas season approaches, SHSID held its annual Art Festival on the afternoon of Tuesday, December 18th. The performances widely varied as students showed their talents in playing instruments, singing, and dancing. SHSID also had the honor of inviting students from Hongmei primary school to perform their incredible jump rope routine.Spirits were high as the audience passionately cheered for eachperformance.As all the performers were awarded for their efforts with rich applause, we can't help but to look forward to the next festival!
12月19日，11-12年級(jí)齊聚大禮堂，歡度一年一度的藝術(shù)節(jié)。本次藝術(shù)節(jié)上，同學(xué)們不僅表演了精彩的節(jié)目，弘梅小學(xué)的小朋友們也來(lái)到上中，給學(xué)長(zhǎng)學(xué)姐們帶來(lái)了充滿童趣的跳繩表演，現(xiàn)場(chǎng)歡呼聲連連，掌聲不斷。古韻十足的中國(guó)舞蹈表演，激情四射的現(xiàn)代舞，悠揚(yáng)婉轉(zhuǎn)的歌聲，精彩的樂(lè)器表演讓學(xué)生們暫時(shí)忘記平時(shí)的煩惱。感謝老師、同學(xué)們帶來(lái)的三個(gè)小時(shí)熱情澎湃的精彩表演！
