To celebrate the 25th anniversary of SHSID, Pudong campus has launched a set of activities for all students, teachers, and parents in these recent weeks, including a writing competition, an art competition and wishes from parents.

Writing Competition

Recently, students have been busy writing/recording down their special memories in SHSID, only to participate in a writing competition with the title of “My Favorite Moment in SHSID”. In the composition, they have expressed their deep affection for the school by depicting stories either funny, touching, or impressive. One can easily discern the intimate friendship among students, the close relationship between students and teachers, and a strong sense of belonging between students and the school. This competition aims to enhance students’ writing skill while bringing about students’ love for SHSID.

Art Competition

At the same time, students who love art and drawing have also been hectic in portraying their “Favorite Memories in SHSID”. This art competition does not restrict on the art medium or materials used, only asking to reveal their sincere feeling for SHSID. Within those applications, students have used colorful touches or vivid sketch to recall their best moments in SHSID, which have turned out to be the most gorgeous decoration for the 25th birthday for SHSID. The result for both the art competition and the writing competition would be announced by Ms. Liu on the December 21st.

Wishes from Parents

It is not only students or teachers who are excited about the 25th anniversary, but our dearest parents also cannot wait to participate in this grand event. In this week, so many parents from Pudong Campus have volunteered to write wishes for the school. Some parents have written down their own experiences of learning, others have written down their best wishes for the future of SHSID, or even have composed small poems to deliver their gratitude for SHSID. Those wishes are so touching and exquisite that even teachers cannot help admiring. As one of the most important parts that makes SHSID great today, it is the support of parents that have set the foundation for SHSID for a bright future. We really hope that SHSID could continue the splendid legend with all the students to shine as the global citizen.

為了迎接上海中學(xué)國(guó)際部25周年的盛大校慶，浦東校區(qū)的全體師生準(zhǔn)備了多種多樣的活動(dòng)來(lái)度過(guò)這一特別的一周。

【寫(xiě)作比賽】

近幾日，浦東校區(qū)全體一至五年級(jí)的學(xué)生都忙著記錄下屬于自己和上中國(guó)際之間最特別的記憶。我們以“我最愛(ài)的SHSID時(shí)刻”為題展開(kāi)了作文大賽。學(xué)生們通過(guò)抒發(fā)自己的真實(shí)情感，描繪了一樁樁、一件件或引人發(fā)笑、或令人動(dòng)容、或印象深刻的故事。不論是在低年級(jí)小朋友短小的段落中，還是在高年級(jí)學(xué)生形式新穎的藏頭詩(shī)中，觀眾都能從中讀出師生之間、學(xué)生之間、學(xué)生和學(xué)校之間濃濃的感情。通過(guò)此番比賽，學(xué)生既鍛煉了寫(xiě)作能力，更是將自己與學(xué)校緊緊地聯(lián)系在了一起。

【美術(shù)比賽】

當(dāng)寫(xiě)作比賽正在如火如荼地展開(kāi)時(shí)，熱愛(ài)繪圖的孩子們也驚喜地發(fā)現(xiàn)，他們的機(jī)會(huì)來(lái)了。同樣以“我最愛(ài)的SHSID時(shí)刻”為主題，體裁、繪畫(huà)手法不限，此次美術(shù)比賽旨在促使學(xué)生們?nèi)グl(fā)現(xiàn)校園生活中的美。令人感動(dòng)的是，學(xué)生們上交的繪畫(huà)作品里有的色彩豐富、天真爛漫，有的栩栩如生、入木三分，全都是他們和學(xué)校之間美好溫暖的回憶。他們的畫(huà)作成為了上海中學(xué)國(guó)際部25歲生日最亮眼的祝福。此次全校區(qū)范圍內(nèi)的美術(shù)比賽與作文比賽的結(jié)果將會(huì)在12月21日校慶當(dāng)天由劉芳主任宣布。

【家長(zhǎng)寄語(yǔ)】

不但學(xué)生和老師們?yōu)榱诵c活動(dòng)熱情準(zhǔn)備，家長(zhǎng)們更是自告奮勇地積極參與進(jìn)來(lái)。在此次為上海中學(xué)國(guó)際部25歲生日收集的寄語(yǔ)里，家長(zhǎng)們那些感人至深、文采斐然的小短篇令老師們都不禁紛紛贊嘆。有的家長(zhǎng)通過(guò)小詩(shī)篇抒發(fā)了自己的感情，更有家長(zhǎng)寫(xiě)起了小散文，有的家長(zhǎng)回顧起自己的求學(xué)之路，也有家長(zhǎng)為上海中學(xué)國(guó)際部許下了最美好的期許。作為共同鑄就上海中學(xué)國(guó)際部今日成就的重要一份子，正是家長(zhǎng)們充分的理解與配合，才使學(xué)校擁有了閃亮明天的基礎(chǔ)。祝愿上海中學(xué)國(guó)際部越辦越好，祝愿上中國(guó)際學(xué)子蒸蒸日上，萬(wàn)里鵬程。
